- Observation of a task in the classroom
Units of Competency
The FSK10113 Certificate I in Access to Vocational Pathways requires 11 units of competency:
Core Units
– Use basic strategies for work-related learning
– Use whole numbers and money up to one thousand for work
– Locate, compare and use highly familiar measurements for work
– Engage in basic spoken exchanges at work
– Read and respond to basic workplace information
– Write basic workplace information
Elective Units
– Read and respond to basic workplace instructions
– Write basic workplace formatted texts
– Locate specific information in highly familiar tables, graphs and charts for work
Credit Transfer and RPL offered: Recognition of prior learning and skills assessment
Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements for this qualification. Applicant will be required to successfully complete an ACSF language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) assessment.
Learning (ACSF Pre Level 1), reading (ACSF Pre Level 1), writing (ACSF Pre Level 1), oral communication (ACSF Pre Level 1) and numeracy (ACSF Pre Level 1) are desirable to participate in the course.
